Streets in Delhi
- Chandni Chowk
Bollywood flicks often popularize the market of 'Chandni Chowk'. It
is situated just opposite to the historic Red Fort in old Delhi. It
is said that the market has been the shopping center since the time
of Mughal dynasty. The old buildings, narrow lanes are best place to
shop embroidered sarees, lehanga cholis, silk shawls, utensils,
trinkets, leather jutti et al.
- Lajpat Nagar
Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi offers the colorful spread of women
accessories, such as, stoles, scarves, sandals and other
knick-knacks. Besides ready made salwar-suit, embroidered unstitched
clothes are also available at reasonable fair. Bargaining on the
road-side stalls may help one save some amount, while some shops

This half-a-century old market is also called the Queen's Way, when
it was introduced in the early 1900s. The 'Tibetan' market and the
Central Cottage Industries Emporium (CCIE) pulls tourist visiting
Delhi. The former offers attractive objects made of
bass/copper/silver, old gramophones, mask etc, while the later is
popular for its rich collection of traditional Indian handicrafts
and items made of fabrics and linen.

The market area of Sarojini Nagar offers fair without festival.
Situated close to Chanakyapuri, the shopping area remains crowded
vendors and hawkers, busy with bawling and selling their products.

the main attraction of the place.

M-Block market in Greater Kailash, South Delhi is one of the
trendiest markets in the city. Seasonal goods with sheer fashion are
available at reasonable rate. The small shops, here, offer the
