Parade: On the occasion of Republic Day, the colorful parade is organized near the India Gate in Delhi. The parade of Republic day reflects the cultural diversity of the country. The route of the Republic Day covers the route of 8 kilometers which starts from the Rashtrapati Bhawan through the Rajpath to India Gate and it ends till Red Fort in Old Delhi. The event starts with the Prime Minister who are laying respect to the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate. Celebrations: In New Delhi on 26th January 2010, the festival is one of the most colorful and the prestigious festival of the country. In this celebrations there are the presence of the many famous dignitaries like President of India, the Prime Minister of India, the union minister and the foreign delegates who adds the glaze to the celebrations of the Republic Day. The day is celebrated in all over the country at all the administrative offices and government units like the capital cities, district headquarters, sub divisions, talukas and panchayats.
Origin: The country has gained independence on 15th August 1947, but on 26th January 1950 the proper rules were implemented to rule the country. On this day the the country was called as the true nation with the sovereign and republic sense. The constitution was made by the Indian Constituent Assembly. The committee has finally 395 Articles and 8 Schedules which was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949. The Indian Republic officially existed from January 26th 1950.
Preamble: The preamble of the country is the preface of the constitution that lays the basic steps to the constitution. The Indian Preamble highlights the society and the government that India and the Indians. The preamble of the Indian constitution is origin with many subjects. We the people of india, having solemnly resolved to Constitute India into a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic and to secure to all its citizens:
1. Justice, Social, Economical and Political.
2. Liberty of thought, Expression, Belief, Faith and workship.
3. Equality of ststus and of opportunity and to promote among them all.
4. Fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation.
In Our Constitute Assembly this twenty sixth day of November, 1949, do hereby Adopt, Enact and give to ourselfd this Constitution.
